Lampstand Lodge

The stay was great. Location was great. Lots of room for a large party. Keep in mind when booking, the description in the ad says that the beds in the rooms are queens... The are full size not queen. The kitchen is well equipped.
Property was clean. It snowed a lot while we stayed ant the hill out front was a great activity spot for sledding and playing in the snow. Would recommend and stay again.

This is a nice large house for groups. However it was a little disappointing to see some of the private bedrooms having double-bed sized futons vs actual beds. This was unfortunate, I understand futons as extra beds but not as the primary bed in a bedroom. Because of this we had a few unhappy guests. I likely wouldn't stay here again unless this was changed.

The lodge was a magical home base for a family trip to ski, sled and hang with cousins. The 10-year old wants to live there forever. Easy access to beginner ski slopes and the shuttle to Timberline(across the road, although crossing 26 is a bit scary), and lots to entertain and support ages 1-73 - games, cozy spaces, warm covers, well labelled light switches...On snowy days you need chains on almost all cars - the hill is a bit steep.

It’s a great location and perfect house for a large group. The kitchen has enough supplies to feed the amount of people that can sleep there in a lot of rentals we have found that is not true. They have a great place to sled on the side of the house where a lot of kids in the neighborhood was doing so.
I would say that the sheets needed to be updated in the house and things like missing hand soap in the bathrooms and a dust pan has never been supplied, but a broom has and I’d like to see some sponges or something wash dishes with. That is the only recommendations I make for this unit.

This was a great place for a ski weekend with friends! We all had ample space to sleep and hang out, and it was walking distance from the town. It was easy to get in and out of the location. We did run into some issues with the parking as the driveway was covered in snow and at an angle, so we were unable to pull fully in, and had a hard time getting our cars out. In the summer you'd be fine!

We had a family gathering with children and grandchildren. Everyone had a private room and bath with plenty of room to relax. Perfect house for large family or group. Kitchen was well stocked with almost too many things, which left little room for food storage.
Beds were uncomfortable, but warm. Bath Towels were 2 per bathroom, which wasn’t enough for our party of 10. Luckily we brought extra towels for the children.
We had difficulty when leaving locking the front door. Management suggested we leave through garage which we did, but garage door opener wouldn’t close. A little maintenance is all our stay need.

We stayed here with a group of 14 for our annual men's retreat. The house was very comfortable and well equipped to handle a group of that size. Hoping to do it again next year!

We rented this lodge for a group ski weekend. The lodge was clean and comfortable and conveniently located off Hwy 26 in Government Camp. We would definitely stay here again!

This lodge was perfect for some of our family to stay in for a wedding we had. There was lots of space, was very clean, and the staff was so accommodating and nice! Will be renting in the future again!

Great house with plenty of room. Across the highway from ski bowl. Just a couple miles to Timberline and plenty of hiking/snow shoeing/XC skiing. No snow removal in driveway. Picture a mound of ice and snow as high as the first landing of the stairs. Made getting in and out of the house an adventure. Fortunately we didn’t have young kids or older parents. Would be dangerous.
