Wheelers Peak in Welches is a spacious and newly remodeled 2,400 sq ft home with four + bedrooms and five baths. This immaculately clean home has plenty of room for gatherings and is a popular spot for family reunions. The large kitchen has plenty of cabinets and prep space and the dining table seats ten. The living area is appointed with plush recliners, a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests and is warmed by a stone fireplace with a wood-burning insert. The old fashioned front porch is the perfect spot for sipping iced tea on summer days and watching the evening settle into the mountain. There is a picnic table and a log swing in the yard. The antique furnishings and vintage photography create an ambiance that is simple, classic and mindful.
The double downstairs bedroom with a private, full bath has two queen beds, its own TV and sliding glass doors that lead outdoors. The upstairs master suite has a king bed and a pullout sofa. The guest suite has a queen bed with a set of bunks and there is another set of bunks in the loft.

Welches is an unincorporated tourist-oriented community in Clackamas County, Oregon. It is located within the Mt. Hood Corridor in Oregon, located between Zigzag and Wemme along U.S. Highway 26.The community was named after Samuel Welch, a homesteader who settled near Welches Creek in 1882. A post office was established here in 1905. The first golf course in the state was built here in the mid-1920s, and today, the largest hotel and golf resort in the corridor is located here, complete with croquet courts.
