Hansel and Gretel are authentic ski chalets located in a Cascadian style alpine village above the snowline on Mount Hood. Gretel is a cozy three level cabin with a mountain theme. Roomier than it appears, Gretel offers elements of old world charm such as a wood burning stove, cedar shingle interior, and Cascadian touches. Hansel features hand milled knotty pine interior, Steiner stone fireplace, and woodland décor.

Both Hansel and Gretel offer satellite TV, DVD, VCR, and CD players, modern kitchens, high speed wireless internet, full size washer and dryers, and captain style ladders to access upstairs bedrooms. They are nestled above historic downtown Government Camp in the heart of the Mount Hood recreation wonderland. Seated at the end of the Glade ski trail, they are only minutes from Mt Hood Meadows, Skibowl, Multipor Mountain, Summit, and Timberline Lodge ski resorts. Ski to your door from Timberline! No need to buy a lift ticket! Walk to restaurants and evening entertainment in historic downtown, stroll through wooded trails, stargaze, or relax by the fire and read a book. Enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, storm watching, and sleigh rides from your front steps. Enjoy the bubbling sounds of the creek just steps away! Visit the Mt Hood Museum and Cultural Center. Trillium Lake is just minutes away for fishing and kayaking.

Hansel and Gretel are neighbors and can be rented separately or together for large or multifamily gatherings. Hansel sleeps 11 and Gretel sleeps 9.

Please note: Parking is limited to two vehicles per house. If additional parking is required please inquire about a snow park pass. Also note that the bottom of the Glade trail is unpatrolled and ungroomed. Email Request
